Galaxy S7 screen information leaked

Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released at the end of this February and is also a smartphone that Samsung expects a lot. Recently, information about the screen of the Samsung Galaxy S7 has been revealed

Current rumors have not determined the screen size of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The Galaxy S7 is said to have a 5.1-inch or 5.2-inch display, while the Galaxy S7 edge’s size is said to be 5.5-inch, 5.7-inch, or 5.8-inch. Most rumors favor the possibility that the Galaxy S7 has a 5.2-inch screen and the Galaxy S7 edge has a 5.7-inch screen.
The screen technology of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will likely be the same as last year: Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2K 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Snapdragon 820 version of these two models will be powered by Qualcomm’s advanced Adreno 530 GPU.

Some previous rumors have also confirmed that the S7 / S7 Edge will switch to using 4K resolution OLED screens, but the leaked benchmark results from the Antutu application deny this information.
The launch date of the Galaxy S7 is only about a week away, and the portrait of the new flagship smartphone from Samsung is already quite clear.

Some of the new technologies that are expected to be available on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge include the ClearForce pressure sensing technology produced by Synaptics and the Always On Display technology developed by Samsung itself. A few days ago, the US Patent Office USPTO granted the copyright to Samsung’s “Always on Display” technology, and it is expected that this technology will help the screen of the Galaxy S7 / S7 edge always display the lock screen notifications without consuming more than 1% of battery power per hour, similar to Motorola’s Active Display. ClearForce technology is supposed to work like Apple’s 3D Touch.

Another very interesting piece of information is that Samsung may switch to using its self-developed Turtle Glass. This glass technology has been protected by Samsung since September last year and will probably begin to be used to replace Gorilla Glass this year.
